American oak ex-Bourbon barrel was filled on the 21st of March 2000 and matured for 21 years and 2 months before being decanted on the 28th of May 2021. After an incredible, decades long maturation, HH0229 yielded just 209 bottles at 48.3%. The style of spirit produced in the year 2000 was destined for long-term maturation, and the benefits of those extra years are abundant in this cask. It is creamy and textural with full body and delicate oak structure. As the oldest Australian distillery release to date, we are incredibly proud to share HH0229 with you.
Each bottle comes in a handmade, solid oak presentation box, and includes a letter of authenticity signed by the Distillery Manager.
